Warsaw, Poland, July 19 – 22, 2012

The Art of Living Foundation hosted the International Youth Festival in Taraska, Poland, where Gurudev encouraged youth to work toward a stress-free violence-free society.

Festival participants included youth-run non-profit organizations, cultural ambassadors, young business and political leaders, and students. They attended customized individual empowerment workshops that promoted human values and community building initiatives such as the Non-Aggression program.

Following the Festival, Gurudev met with the residents of PiotrkówTrybunalskich, a small town near Warsaw.

Youth from various NGOs finalized their plans for ecological projects at the International Youth Festival in Taraska. One of the organizers commented, “Speaking with Gurudev has inspired us, given us a great impetus to further develop service projects in Poland – programs like Non- Aggression Program, dealing with aggression among young people.”
