“Last year when I was offered the award, I thought someone ​else’s​ work should be encouraged and recognised. Recently, many people have been returning their awards and disrespecting the nation. I respect those individuals yet personally, I don’t agree with this stance. Hence I’ve decided to accept the award​ ​and honor the recognition given by my homeland.
