Kolkata, India, January 7, 2012

Gurudev delivered the presidential address at Swami Vivekananda’s 150th Birth Anniversary Celebrations and inaugurated a walk to commemorate the event at the Scottish Church College. He emphasized that India’s youth should follow the ideals iterated by Swami Vivekananda – strong hearts and open minds, and the desire to be of service to one’s country.

“Life is a gift but very complex. It’s a complexity of…peace and dynamism, love and action, silence and service,” said Gurudev during the address.
